Our workshops are designed for volunteers, students, schools, organisations, and long-term visitors seeking a deeper understanding of Namibia’s history and contemporary society. Exploring themes such as German colonialism, the Ovaherero and Nama genocide, anti-racism, privilege, and white saviourism, participants are encouraged to critically engage with the broader structures of power that continue to shape Namibia today.
Interactive and experience-based, the workshops combine historical input with discussions, films, and group activities. By connecting past and present, they create space for meaningful learning, open dialogue, and new perspectives.
Developed through years of research and lived experience in Namibia, the workshops provide participants with the knowledge, context, and tools needed to engage more thoughtfully and respectfully within the Namibian context. The aim is to foster greater cultural sensitivity, deeper understanding, and more meaningful engagement with Namibia’s diverse communities.

Designed for volunteers, interns and expats, the workshop explores anti-racist and postcolonial perspectives on global engagement. Participants critically engage with racism, privilege, German colonialism, colonial continuities and White Saviourism while gaining deeper insight into Namibia’s colonial history and its lasting legacies today.
Organized in collaboration with Wadadee Cares.
The workshops include a postcolonial city tour, daily lunch, tee & coffee.
